Connect for Global Change | Promoting global citizenship
Connect for Global Change is a program that awards grants and provides support to small and medium-sized NGOs in 11 European countries between 2024-2027.
In these European countries, 11 national organisations are working together to get EU citizens – especially young people and those less familiar with global challenges – more involved in creating an inclusive, fair and sustainable world.
What will we do
Between 2024 and 2027, Connect for Global Change supports small projects that inform and engage EU citizens about global challenges. Think of global challenges such as the climate crisis, gender inequality, poverty, exclusion, misinformation and disinformation, digital inequality, war and conflict, migration and deportation, and pandemics.
Small and medium-sized NGOs are awarded funding to realise creative, impactful and innovative projects that promote global citizenship. For example:
- Education projects
- Awareness-raising campaigns
- Artistic events
- Workshops
- Festivals
- Community projects
- Social media campaigns and more.
In the Netherlands, a total of 30 applications have been approved, of which 16 projects are still in progress. Want to learn more about these initiatives? Visit our projects page.
